There are two ways to manage how users access courses in Training Post: 

Assignments and the Course Library.

The two mechanisms exist to cover different use cases. One way to think about it is that Assignments are courses the learner should view, whereas the Course Library represents courses the learner could view.

Learners will see courses from both sources on their home screen - if there are any Assignments these will be shown first.

This table summarises the differences between the two sources:

* When users are added to a group they will automatically get access to courses shared with that group in the course library or group assignments.

** The number of attempts allowed is set on the course. Additional attempts can be granted for library courses, this is not currently available for assignments but will follow soon.
