New  Group Assignments

User assignments select specific people to access a list of courses - this can mean assignments need editing if the members in your cohort change. Group assignments allow you to pick a user group to access the courses, and then stay in sync with the group membership as it changes saving admin time and effort. They have the added bonus of being easier to set up in the first place.

Group assignments can be also be combined with smart groups to automate course enrolment.
